When they arrive at the Knee, the three run into Hunter posing as a coven scout and quickly take him hostage. As they explore the tunnels to avoid the Emperor's Coven, he and Eda test out their new found powers and mess around with mining equipment. Eventually, they are spotted and, after Amity frees Hunter, the three are grown down a crevasse but Owlbert catches them however he is knocked out.
Searching for his father and discovering new abilities
When Amity Blight steps on his cupcake, Luz challenges Amity to a fight and forces her to apologize for the act of she wins. Amity accepts if Luz stops practicing magic if she wins and places Luz in an everlasting oath. After getting more handouts, he falls into the arena during the fight and Luz saves him from a trap Eda set. After the fight ends in a draw, with Amity's mentor Lilith Clawthorne unknowingly giving Amity a power glyph to boost her strength, the girls patch things up and he and Eda a catch up with Luz before leaving. Lilith mocks the holes in King's story, causing him to leave the room in frustration.
Bonding with Luz's friends
At first they obey him, but eventually they overthrow him and, with Hooty's help, they put down the uprising. As of "Echoes of the Past", he has etched the symbol found on his island into his collar tag. Initially, King wears practically nothing, save for a dark red collar with a blank circular tag.
Follies at the Coven Day Parade
King Clawthorne is one of the two deuteragonists (alongside Eda Clawthorne) of the 2020 Disney Channel animated series The Owl House. King treats Luz's friends the same way he once treated Luz herself when they first met. He seems to tolerate Willow and Gus, but had very negative feelings toward Amity when they first met as seen in "Covention". He personally sees them as beneath him, but has grown to be amicable with them. In "Really Small Problems", he wanted to keep Luz to himself and keep Willow and Gus away, but by the end sees how important they are to her and accepts them as his friends. It is implied that once Amity started being friends with Luz, that King too started to tolerate her as well.

King then shouts in anger, inadvertently unlocking his voice power, which can create a force field. However, Hooty is too upset to notice that, and pulls away in tears, not hearing King calling after him. King has shown to be defensive for Luz, such as when he fears his "boo-boo buddy" is taken by the 'monster' in "The Intruder", he chases after it, demanding Luz back. In "Covention", he is quick to get angry at a student for cheering Amity's name and not Luz's. After Lilith states she thinks King is lying after noticing multiple inconsistencies, he brings out her staff and Owlbert and he brings them, along with Hooty, to his island; leaving a note for Eda.
He finds a Kitty Cafe and hides in it, finding Eda in his body, and he is locked up with her. Luz in Eda's body frees them and the group is found by all three's pursuers. Eda puts the three of them back in their respective bodies, before then switching the bodies of their pursuers.
Appearances
Belos convulses in his quarters, as Luz demands that he stop the spell. Eventually, he becomes unable to control himself anymore and turns into his monster form. Eda saved King from that creature and took him home, with only a broken horn due to a makeshift arrow fired by the creature meant for Eda.
He often acts like a monarch, treating people and stuffed animals as minions, ordering others to tremble at his feet and loves to act bigger than he really is. However, due to being so cute and small, he gets the opposite reaction towards people. Instead of fearing him they adore him with a lot of unwanted affection which annoys him. In "Enchanting Grom Fright", King and Gus' relationship improves when King appears as a co-emcee with him on Grom Night. Gus shows genuine concern towards King after he runs away in the middle of the event from stage fright, and gives advice to King afterwards to help him with speaking in front of crowds.
Appearance
King greets Camila, who pulls him and Eda in for a hug, and watches as Hooty is returned to normal. After the Collector decides to do some soul searching in the stars, King gives him Francois as a goodbye gift, hugs the Collector, and says he hopes to see him again. Luz soon frees him from the dream and she and King hug with Eda joining them before Luz introduces them to Stringbean. However, their reunion is interrupted after the Collector appears and forces them to play games. Suddenly, King finds himself on Titan Trapper Island being hunted down by Bill.
And if he goes around telling people about demon realm they will just think he is crazy. Luz offers to be his guide in the modern world if he stops the draining spell. But knowing Belos will not keep his word since he is a trickster, Luz tricks him into giving him a coven sigil, and he soon becomes infected by his own spell.
According to King, it was where his castle was, and where Eda found him. As the former lead historical scholar to the Emporers’ Coven, Lilith says that there is no such thing as a king of demons as the demons didn’t unite under a single ruler until Emperor Belos. King takes the opportunity to tell her that she’s wrong and tells his tale of his reign of terror as the mighty King of Demons. A quick flashback over the vague story plays out with King being substantially larger than we know him as, until his mighty crown was taken from him.
Just as they arrive at the portal, it begins to flicker, but the light returns as Hunter opens the door. Seeing that human rain is harmless, Willow, Gus, and Hunter, who unknowingly has sludge from Belos fall on his shirt, run inside. Before entering, Amity looks back, finding Luz holding together the portal with plant vines. She tells the group that she has to get to Eda, and they'll find a way back to them, encouraging them to go on without her. The Collector, however, immediately spots what's going on and begins dragging King away, reminding him of their promise. Luz refuses to let King go and tries to hold on to him, but he makes up his mind and decides to stay behind for the group's safety.
However, beneath his bluster, King is a loyal and caring friend to the show’s protagonist, Luz. During the end credits, the piece of Belos that fell on Hunter closes the door of the old house that once linked both realms. "Heh, human. You're not used to having a demon inside you are you?" King asked in a sarcastic, but sweet-sounding tone. "This feels so much better than using my fist or a toy.", Luz thought to herself as her nethers were slammed into. She had been blackmailed into this, but Luz Noceda couldn't deny it felt far better. For such a small creature, King was unusually well endowed; her folds wrapped eagerly around his dark purple shaft as his nuts slapped against her perky little clit- sending shudders up her spine.
In a room full of skulls, Bill explains that they belong to his siblings and that he will be sacrificed shortly. As the Gland Prix is approaching, King and Luz train for the event, as the winner gets interviewed and King wants to send a message to his father. He also struggles to tell Eda he wants her to adopt him, unsure how Eda would react. During the race, he and Luz crash after he vomits and they come in fifth. Eda decides to put his message on Penstagram and he delivers his message with Eda being shocked and overjoyed that he wants to legally become her son.
Unfortunately, Belos stabs Kikimora in the back and kicks her out before throwing the Collector off a bridge. Then he confronts Hunter, who he knows is actually Luz, and the two engage in a magic duel. The Collector then looks out to the crowd of dying people and agrees, stopping the Draining Spell by simply moving the moon beside the sun with a finger flick.
